Alaskan King Firm Foam Mattress
$4,389
108 × 108 in, 11 in thick
Made to order, ships in 1 to 3 weeks
This Alaskan King firm foam mattress covers the full 9 × 9 ft. A firm, 11 in foam mattress in the full 108 × 108 in (274 × 274 cm) size, made in one piece. Handmade to order in the USA and delivered folded in half, so it fits through a standard doorway.
Overview
A firm mattress for the full 9 × 9 ft
This is the Alaskan King in its simplest form: one 11 in firm foam mattress covering 81 sq ft. Four adults get 27 in of width each (our calculation), and because the mattress is a single piece, nobody sleeps on a seam.
What's inside
A quilted organic cotton cover and a woven border upholstered by hand, over 2 in of comfort foam and a foam support base. The maker states that the foams are certified by CertiPUR-US®
. Base thickness and weight: not published by the maker.
Delivery: folded, not rolled
The mattress is made to order and ships in 1 to 3 weeks. Because it is one piece, it travels folded in half in a box: that is what gets a 9 ft mattress through a standard doorway. The maker advises taking it out of its box within 2 weeks of delivery. Curbside delivery is free in the contiguous US, and we email the tracking number when it ships.
What goes with it
A frame built for 108 × 108 in (Alaskan King bed frames) and sheets with a pocket deeper than 11 in. Prefer to choose the firmness? The Alaskan King latex mattress comes in Soft, Medium or Firm. All models: Alaskan King mattresses.
Will it fit? Enter your room in our bedroom size calculator: it checks every bed size against your walls.
The frame made for this size: our Alaskan King platform bed frame.
How it compares
The latex mattress is the same size with 2 in of natural latex added (12 in in all) and three firmnesses at one price; the Wyoming King firm foam mattress has the same build in 84 × 84 in.
