Build the bed in three parts
- The frame. Our Wyoming King platform bed frame, $6,669, is aluminum, handmade in Ohio and rated for up to 2,000 lb. It has wooden slats, so no box spring is needed, and comes in five colors. It is also in our Wyoming King bed frame collection.
- The mattress. Four models in the full 84 × 84 in size, compared just below.
- The bedding. King sheets are too small for this size. Our Wyoming King linen sheet set ($739) and Wyoming King linen duvet cover set ($719) are cut for 84 × 84 in.
Which Wyoming King mattress?
| Mattress | Height | Feel | Price, delivered |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plant-based foam | about 7 in | firm | $2,359 |
| Natural latex and wool | about 7 in | medium | $3,289 |
| Firm foam | 11 in | firm | $2,809 |
| Latex | 12 in | soft, medium or firm | $3,469 |
The two 7 in models have a waterproof organic cover and no added chemical flame retardants: wool is the flame barrier. For a thicker bed with more cushioning, look at the 11 in and 12 in models. On our platform frame, a solid board over the slats is recommended under a foam or latex mattress; ask us and we confirm its price before production. All four are in our Wyoming King mattress collection.
Will it fit through the door and in the room?
The firm foam and latex mattresses arrive compressed in a box that fits through a standard doorway. The two 7 in models are shipped rolled and vacuum-packed; the packed size is not published, so if a staircase is tight, email us before you order. The frame is delivered free to the curb. In the room, a Wyoming King mattress with 30 in of walking space on both sides and at the foot needs about 12 × 9.5 ft (our calculation); add the headboard, since our frame measures 84 × 89.5 in with it.
